Guy de la Porte has sold a prime industrial site in Bellville Industrial Park to a KZN developer for R 7, 67 Million (including Vat). The extent of the land is approximately 5,000m². The sale was brokered in collaboration with Kurt Gouwsventer of Assetbridge Real Estate who represents the developer of Bellville Industrial Park. The purchaser of the land is Tyris Realty, who’s focus currently is on the development of turnkey logistic facilities, tenant-driven retail centres and unique residential offerings. Tyris purchased the land in Bellville Industrial Park for an existing KZN tenant in their growing property portfolio who needed a purpose-built industrial property in Cape Town.
Bellville Industrial Park is situated between Sarepta Station and the R300 next to Sack’s Circle which is one of Bellville’s Industrial areas. The site is accessed via Mill Road passing Mega Park and Mill Road Industrial Park and is highly visible from the R300 ring road. Mega Park is one of the best examples in Cape Town of an obsolete industrial Park that was recycled into a multi-tenanted industrial park. Mill Road Park is in the process of being developed and consists mainly of units in the 3,000m² size range. Bellville Industrial Park forms part of Cape Town’s developing industrial property nodes.
